we finally made gwyny a journal - _gwyny. So far she has written 1 whole world (friends only) and then spent ages before she could bring herself to press upadate journal. But i think it's brilliant that she said anything at all. I don't know if she'll be able to get into the habit of writing and gradually comunicate more or not. Shes chosen to friend only people that she knows rather than people we as a group know so she hasn't even included maisiemousie which is a bit harsh. I don't know what she'll do if anyone else friends her. Helping her with her intrest list was fun anyway.
Next we'll have to sort out locket - she's perefctly capaable of speaking and wrting for herself but she's scared of computers which is a bit of a problem.

I've just noticed one of my knucles is bleeding slightly but i don't remeber doing anything to it that would have broken the skin - wierd

about locket, what about computers scares her?

Maybe she could write her entries by hand, and another of you could post it for her?

locket worrys that the computer might be "bad" she worries a lot about being a good girl and she has very strict ideas about what good and bad are and "all or nothing" thinking. Because when we first started using the internet (when we were at uni) the rest of us used it to find out more about Paganism etc and people in newsgroups we beloged too (like asar and alt.support.dissosation) said stuff that she didn't agree with and because judiff uses the computer a lot and she thinks judifff is bad she decided that it must be bad. Now, because of councellling and friends gently challeging her belives she's a bit less sure things but she still worries a lot and if she used the computer it would somehow make her a bad girl.
It would also be difficult for her to type because she doesn't use her left hand, just the right one.
She did once do some word proccessing because she can see that it makes our writing so much easier to read but she found the whole think very frightening.
locket can make life quite complicated for herself and for the rest of us!
